The Guiguinto Municipal Police Station (MPS) seized illegal drugs worth P204,000 while arresting a drug personality during a buy-bust operation at Brgy. Tiaong in the town of Guiguinto, Bulacan on 27 November.

According to Guiguinto MPS chief Police Major Ian Sanchez, the arrested suspect was identified only as Dan, a 50-year-old drug personality in the town. The suspect allegedly sold a sachet of suspected drugs to an undercover agent for P500.

Recovered from the operation were the marked money and four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, including the buy-bust item. The confiscated illegal drugs have a total weight of 30 grams with a street value of P204,000.

The seized items were turned over to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination, while charges for violating Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 are being prepared against the suspect.
